Q. How close are golden sunset apartments to the beach and town?

A. The beach is 2 minutes and the town 3 minutes.

Q. How close are you to the Tate Gallery and Barbara Hepworth Museum?

A. We are 400 metres  from the entrance to the Tate Gallery and 400 metres from the Barbara Hepworth Museum.

Q. Is there wheelchair access?

A. Unfortunately we do not have the facilities for wheelchair access.

Q. What is the access for the apartment?

A. There is one flight of stairs comprising of 13 steps to golden sands.

Q. Do you allow smoking in the apartment?

A. Smoking is strictly prohibited and this includes the balconies.

A. Unfortunately we do not allow pets

A. Unfortunately we do not have the facilities to cater for children under 18.

Q. Is there parking at golden sunset apartments?

A. Yes, An off road parking space under the apartment is available at an additional cost of £42 per week or £6 per day. This is available from 4pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 10am on the day of departure. There is a height restriction of 2.1 metres.
Alternatively Barnoon Car Park is directly opposite and there are six other car parks in St.Ives. There is also a secure long stay car park approximatley 5 minutes drive away. For more information visit www.stivescarpark.com

Q. Are we able to load/unload the car outside the apartments?

A. Yes, but only for a short period of time.

A. Yes we provide a pay as you go mobile phone

A. Yes, wireless internet is provided and is password protected.

Q. Is there a television?

A. Yes there is a flat screen television with freeview and built in DVD player.

Q. Do you provide bed linen?

A. Yes all bed linen is provided and the bed is made up on arrival.

Q. Do you provide towels

A. For stays of 7 nights and over we provide 2 bath towels 2 hand towels and a bath mat.

Q. Do you provide beach towels?

A. Yes for stays of 7 nights and over, however we ask that the beach towels are laundered on the day of departure and that the bath towels are not taken out of the apartment.

Q. Do I need to bring my own toiletries?

A. Yes, however we provide two toilet rolls and hand soap for your arrival.

Q. Do you provide any cleaning products?

A. We provide a bucket, mop, dustpan and brush and vacuum cleaner. We also supply a small range of cleaning products.  We do not supply washing powders for laundering although we do supply hand soap and washing up liquid for the kitchen as well as 2 dishwasher tablets.

Q. Do you have laundry facilities?

A. The apartment is equipped with a combined washer/dryer.

Q. What facilities are there in the kitchen?

A. There is an electric hob, electric oven, fridge/freezer and a dishwasher. We also provide cutlery, crockery, glasses, kitchen utensils, pots and pans, ovenware and tea towels.

Q. Are golden sunset apartments centrally heated?

A. Yes we have brand new gas boilers and radiators, which are operated by a thermostat. Also in the lounge there is a gas fire.

Q. How will I receive the keys?

A. On booking we will provide you with a code to a locked box, where the key will be waiting for you upon arrival.

Q. What are the arrival and departure times?

A. You can check in from 4 o'clock on the day of arrival. You must vacate the apartments by 10 o’clock on the day of departure.

Q. If we arrive late are there places open where food is available?

A. Yes there are 3 co op’s in St.Ives and one has a car park, they are open until 11 o’clock. There is also a Tesco as you come into St.Ives which is open Monday – Saturday  from 8am – 8pm and Sundays 10 - 4.

Q. What else do you provide?

A. We have tried to provide you with everything you will need for your stay. You will receive a welcome pack on arrival which includes tea, coffee, milk, sugar, and biscuits. A pasty supper can also be arranged in advance for your arrival when you book. We live in St.Ives and are happy to help with any queries that you may have about where to eat, what to visit etc.  Please contact us at any time.
